Why Gather?

Not to offend any hermits living in a wireless hotspot under a bridge in Humbolt (who might at this very moment be reading this) or anything, but there are certain benefits one gains from the company of others... Other people will let you know whether that new pair of overalls you just got in 1988 make you look fat or not... They can offer you encouragement by complimenting you on the Squirrel Marsala dish you always bring to the Sesquicentennial Troll potlucks... Sorry (if you've read this far)...

All joking aside, the Bible tells us not to forsake fellowship -- not to give up on each other, probably because the whole point of life is to be like Christ, who never gives up on us, however foolish and obnoxious we may be.
